I am 30. At first I thought this was going to be a scary thing, but it has actually been a great event for me!
On my birthday I had the pleasure of inviting my friends and family to join me at the Toys for Tots facility for some volunteer time. We sorted toys and then bagged the toys for distribution. It is so rewarding to help others.
On a "grown up" note I have been able to look back at some major events of my life with a new pair of eyes. I believe that everything happens for a reason and without those major events I would not be in the happy place that I am in today!
I am looking forward to my next 30 years. This is going to be a great decade with lots of joy in store.
